Brian Pelc
Born just outside Milwaukee, WI from hard working parents who continue to nurture our individuality, my brothers and I learned about long days, meaningful commitment and the value of education. I followed a science path through school, with a strong focus on biology. I attended the University of Colorado, Boulder for an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Organism Biology and the University of Minnesota for a Master’s degree in Plant Ecology and Management. I first worked with native plants in Colorado in 2002 and continued in native landscaping and native ecosystem management in Oregon, Minnesota and Florida. I live with my lovely and supportive wife and amazing son in Pinellas County. My goal at Florida Cracker Land is to offer my community realistic options for landscape and lifestyle that reduce our impact on the environment.
